Født 1975

Rana is a Dutch-Swiss ceramic artist working from her Copenhagen studio, where she shapes stoneware into pieces that bring together function, form and a touch of sculpture.

Drawn to the quiet, tactile nature of clay and the endless possibilities it offers, Rana began learning the craft five years ago, and since then, throwing on the wheel has become a passionate and deeply rewarding part of life. She is particularly inspired by creating vases that balance function with form — pieces that can hold flowers and live naturally in a home, while also standing on their own as small sculptural objects
